Mr. Prakit Chunhacha (left), Director , Thai Honda Manufacturing Co., Ltd., representing the Honda Group of Companies in Thailand received the Outstanding Pavilion Award Plaque from M.R. Pongsawat Sawasdiwat (right), Minister of Industry at the BOI Fair 2011 Thank You Party, which recently took place at the Royal Jubilee Room, 1st Floor, Challenger Impact, Muang Thong Thani. Taking inspiration from HM’s kindness bestowed upon the land, the Honda Pavilion represented this via a large water curtain, which was used to filter out heat while allowing in natural light. This unique design reduced electricity usage in the Pavilion. Materials used to build the Honda Pavilion were made of eco-friendly, recycled items that can be reused, such as concrete blocks, particle boards and recycled wood.
