Volvo showcases at the 33rd Bangkok International Motor Show all its nine models, led by the recently launched All-New Volvo V60 DRIVe sports wagon and the freshened XC90 luxury SUV, plus not-to-be-missed promotion.

The nine Volvo models on display and sales include the Volvo V60 DRIVe dynamic sports wagon with ample space for more loads; the Volvo XC90 D5 premium SUV, Volvo S40 compact sedan, Volvo V50 family estate car, Volvo S60 DRIVe sports sedan that comes in both B and S version, Volvo S80 2.5FT in both Dynamic and Superior versions, and Volvo XC60 D3 crossover with stylish design.
Volvo V60 DRIVe is a coupe-like luxury car with handy extra space sports wagon for family and young generation. The sports wagon offers luxury design that breathes truly Scandinavian design concept combining perfectly both aesthetic value and functionality.
Powerful E85 capable engine increases value for money while demonstrating care for the environment. The 1.6 Lt engine is made from lightweight aluminium, producing 180Hp at 5,700 rpm and delivers maximum torque of 240 Newton metres from just 1600 and all the way up to 5000 revs a minute. It can accelerate from 0-100 km in only 9 seconds. Maximum speed of 220 km/h can be achieved. While the engine delivers massive power, it produces impressively low emission of only 135 grammes per kilometer while achieving high fuel efficiency. The average fuel consumption (city and highway driving combined) is 13.33 km per one litre of fuel or 9.8 km. per one litre of E85 fuel.
One of the highlight at Volvo’s booth will be the refined XC90 D5 premium SUV that comes in more sophisticated and dynamic look. The refreshed premium SUV comes in full color coordination of its front and rear bumpers, sill moulding, outstanding wheel arches and new lower door moulding for enhanced side impression. Chrome trim on rear tail lights, front bumper corners and rear view mirrors, silver-color roof rails and new front bumper bar give the XC90 more stylish and sporty look. Front LED Running Day Light (DRL), fiber optic LED rear light and brake light are in Volvo signatures. Inside, the spacious and modern design is enhanced with chestnut-colored sovereign hide seats and piping in white leather at the edge of the backrest and cushion. The XC90 D5 is powered by the 2.4Lt engine which delivers improved power of 200 hp at 3,900 rpm, and torque of 420 Nm at the 1,900-2,800 rpm range as well as highly impressiveness. The 6-speed Geartronic transmission also ensures smooth operation and responsive acceleration. It is also capable of running on B5 fuel.
In addition, the XC90 premium SUV also offers superior safety and driving confidence with many world’s leading innovations namely, the Roll Stability Control System (RSC), inflatable side curtains for all three rows of seats, an integrated sliding centre booster for children in the second row and seatbelts with pre-tensioners for all seats.
