Mitsubishi Eco Caravan gets good response – 3,000 customers join 40 trips 4,000 kms.

Mitsubishi Motors unveiled that “Mitsubishi Eco Caravan 2014” activity finished with good response with the new record of more than 3,000 participants, total distance more than 4,000 kms. on 40 nationwide routes. This activity could support brand awareness, customer satisfaction and be a part to support company eco car sales. Total sales of Mitsubishi Mirage and Attrage are 104,000 units. The company will continue to do this same activity for customer throughout this year.

Mr. Morikazu Chokki, the President and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. unveiled that company is successful in the Caravan activity under named “Mitsubishi Eco Caravan 2014”. This activity is collaboration between Mitsubishi dealers, Mitsubishi Mirage and Attrage customers and local media to build the record of driving Mitsubishi eco car for travelling and joining the CSR activity on 40 nationwide routes from June till December 2014.

“The Mitsubishi Eco Caravan is one of Mitsubishi Motors’ activities that we intend to strengthen good relationship with our customers and to thank for their trust in Mitsubishi eco car. This activity received good responses; over 3,000 customers from 1,270 families participated and break the record by driving the Mitsubishi eco car on distance more than 4,000 kms. and on 40 nationwide routes. Moreover, the customers join CSR activity such as donate scholarship for students, release fish breeding and donate money to local organization and could be a part for sending the happiness to local people and their community. It is our great successful activity in 2014” Mr. Chokki stated.

Mr. Chokki added about the market response that Mitsubishi eco car is an outstanding eco car from their low fuel consumption, maneuverability and full functions which are in both models; Mitsubishi Mirage and Attrage. Total sales volume of Mitsubishi eco car is more than 104,000 units (March 2012 – December 2014). In 2014, the eco car sales volumes achieved more than 23,000 units or 36 % of Mitsubishi cars total sales. Though, arranging activity does not directly generate sales but it is very important in term of building brand awareness and confidence in our Mitsubishi eco car and the company will also continue activity with customer throughout this year.
