Ms.Anette Andersson, Managing Director, Volvo Car (Thailand) Ltd. revealed, "Today, is another great opportunity to introduce The All-New XC90, the ultimate perfection of the first world-class safety innovation in an SUV. This car holds great meaning to us at Volvo, as it represents our concept, "A New Beginning." The All-New XC90 is in fact a new beginning in several aspects, from brand image, future brand direction, and a flagship in safety innovation. Now, Thai people can enjoy it up close."

"After we launched The All-New Volvo XC90 in March, the model received great feedback and booking, for both D5 AWD and T8 Twin Engine plug-in hybrid models. Besides, we also received great reviews from the media in just a few weeks. This is considered a great beginning for this year"

"The All-New XC90 is the most luxurious 7-seat SUV in the Thai market. The Volvo XC90 range also includes the D5 twin turbo diesel common rail engine with 225 hp, 470 Nm, best in class fuel consumption of 15.4 km/liter and T8 twin engine plug-in hybrid, combining the electric engine with the turbo and supercharge benzene engine, powering 407 hp, 640 Nm, and fuel consumption, as low as 45.5 km/liter, while emitting only 53 g of carbon dioxide per kilometer.

With the uniquely Swedish meticulous design, the all-new XC90 offers the most comprehensive and technologically sophisticated standard safety package available in the automotive industry. It includes two world first safety technologies: a run-off road protection package and auto brake at intersection capability. Volvo is also the frontrunner in innovating smart safety system, or Intellisafe, that aims to protect drivers, passengers, as well as pedestrians.

The all-new XC90 sets the stage for other Volvo models to come, whether it is in terms of future automobile design and the cutting edge safety technologies that Volvo invents and develops. The interior and exterior is uniquely designed in a simple yet elegant and easy-to-use Scandinavian style. The T-shaped "Thor's Hammer" (from the famous "Norse God of Thunder Thor") DRL lights, along with the new larger grille, sets a new look and a powerful elegant front. The car also features the top-of-the-line audio systems, 1,400 W Class D amplifier and 19 Bowers & Wilkins speakers.

This year, not only did the company launch the all-new XC90, Volvo also appeals to the new generation with the V40 Cross Country D4, the powerful car that drives fast, while ensuring highest safety. The premium 5-door hatchback features diesel engine, 8-speed automatic transmission, and a touch of elegance and the new color "Power Blue Metallic." The new diesel D4 twin-turbo engine boasts 190 horsepower at 4,250 rotations per minute and 400 Nm torque at 1,750 – 2,500 rotations per minute. The engine boasts highest speed of 210 kilometers per hour and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometer per hour in 7.5 seconds. The average fuel consumption in and outside the city is 20 kilometer per liter , making it a fun and unique ride wherever you go.
