Mazda is ready to launch a full range of new SKYACTIV models at the 37th Bangkok International Motor Show. Mazda's participation at the Bangkok Motor Show is significant this year as there are new SKYACTIV models offered in every segment, and this is also the first time that the all-new CX-3 is being exhibited in dress-up form. Large crowds are expected to flock this year's show to see the latest vehicles and automotive technologies, and Mazda expects to receive more than 4,000 orders during the event.

Mr. Hidesuke Takesue, President of Mazda Sales (Thailand) Co. Ltd., said the Bangkok Motor Show serves as a turning point for the automobile market every year. "Customers usually place orders for new vehicles during the end of the year, and deliveries last until January, causing low sales for the auto market during the first two months of the year. The Bangkok Motor Show is the first event of the year that revives the auto market, and automobile companies all prepare new models to be launched along with sales campaigns. This is a period with extremely high market competition and helps the market to become lively again," he said.

This year, Mazda is offering a full line-up of SKYACTIV models with attractive sales promotions. They include the new Mazda CX-5 SKYACTIV that has just been introduced and the all-new Mazda CX-3 that has been enjoying strong popularity among Thai buyers, as well as the all-new Mazda MX-5 roadster, all-new Mazda3, all-new Mazda2 and BT-50 PRO pickup. In addition, Mazda is also exhibiting a customized Mazda CX-3 for those who want to see a special version from Mazda.

Most importantly, Mazda is the only Japanese manufacturer that is creating history by winning various awards from around the world through its 6th generation models with SKYACTIV technology and KODO design. With sales of over 3 million units globally, Mazda is also gaining fame for Japan and Asia, with the CX-5, Mazda2 an MX-5 winning the Japan Car of the Year titles in 2012-13, 2014-2015 and 2015-2016. Meanwhile, the Mazda3 was the top 3 in the World Car of the Year 2014 and the MX-5 is also a finalist in the World Car of the Year 2016. The MX-5 and CX-3 also entered the last 3 of the World Car Design of the Year 2016, after the CX-3 previously won the Best Design award from Germany. This is the pride for the Mazda people who are able to create engineering with exceptional performance and beauty for customers around the world.

Mr. Thee Permpongpanth, Marketing Director of Mazda Sales (Thailand) Co. Ltd., said the Bangkok Motor Show will help stimulate consumer spending and Mazda is confident that it will be one of the chosen brands by car buyers, with a sales target of 4,000 units. "In order to thank more than 50,000 customers that has given their trust in Mazda SKYACTIV vehicles last year, we will be offering the 'SKYACTIV CELEBRATION' campaign for those who place orders for Mazda vehicles at the Bangkok Motor Show. Mazda2, Mazda3, Mazda CX-3 and Mazda CX-5 customers get free first-class insurance and 3-year Mazda Care maintenance, while MX-5 customers get free first-class insurance and 5-year warranty, and Mazda BT-50 PRO customers receive Bt50,000 extra value for trade-ins. All customers who place orders at the Show will also get an elegant travel suitcase or cool licensed Mazda watch," he said.
