Mazda highlights SKYACTIV technology at Motor Expo along with “All for You” special promotion

Mazda is offering hard-to-rests sales promotion for the year-end period and is fielding every SKYACTIV model at the Thailand International Motor Expo 2016. The special campaign makes it easier to own Mazda vehicles due to very special conditions, and Mazda is confident that the event will help stimulate consumer spending and contribute to the economy.

All 6th-generation SKYACTIV models will be on display at the Mazda booth. They include the MX-5 roadster, CX-3 and CX-5 sport crossovers, Mazda3 and Mazda2 passenger cars that features the best qualities ranging from KODO Design, SKYACTIV technology, i-ACTIVSENSE and MZD CONNECT, as well as the tough BT-50 pickup that answers to all customer demands.

Mr. Chanchai Trakarnudomsuk, President of Mazda Sales (Thailand) Co. Ltd., said during the past 10 months, the Thai automobile market remained stable with combined sales of 620,000 units, which is about the same as last year.

"The SUV market is still enjoying growth and many companies are introducing new models in this segment," he said. This year, Mazda is the only brand that stands out with sales growth against market decline. From January to October, Mazda sold over 35,000 vehicles and is fifth in the total market and third in the passenger car market.

"Mazda has been carrying out a clear marketing policy while the products covered all customer requirements. Most importantly, there were noticeable improvements at the service centers and after-sales quality. Today Mazda has adopted a new customer care program including new showroom appearance and the opening of a new parts center that can deliver parts to any destination in the country within 24 hours. Quick servicing bays have also been added in order to cut customer waiting times," he said.

"While Mazda is enjoying sales growth, this year we are also working on improving the appearance of the showrooms in order to stress our position as a Japanese premium brand. We also want to prepare for growth in terms of sales and after sales countrywide, with the new showroom concept improvement having started for a while. This is to create a new experience for customers and creating a good customer perception right from the first step into the showroom. We want to build customer confidence and convince them that they have made the right choice in choosing Mazda.
