Mazda aiming to give visitors memorable experience with premium vehicle showcase at the Bangkok Motor Show New Mazda3 and MX-5 to be officially unveiled

Mazda Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd. pleasingly brings customers to experience the 39th Bangkok International Motor Show. In this event, Mazda will unveil new three models consists of New Mazda2 2018 Collection; teenager favorite compact car which becomes the number one in market by adding freshness and worthiness with fuller options, but no price increase. New Mazda3 2018 Collection a worldwide popular subcompact car achieved sales of 5 million units featuring the safety of 360-degree View Monitor and the legend of the most exciting driving for manual transmission fans; New Mazda MX-5 manual transmission.

Mr. Chanchai Trakarnudomsuk, President of Mazda Sales (Thailand) Co. Ltd., said in 2017 the automobile market enjoyed 13.3% growth, with the passenger car market rising by as much as 23.5%. "This year, the Thai economy has been expanding since the start of the year, with contributing factors being the sizeable investments made by the government such as the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) project, the dual railway project and airport renovation, in addition to growing exports, tourism and the completion of the First Car Buyer program," he said. "All these factors enabled the automobile market to take on a path for growth, and for Mazda we have set a sales target of 60,000 units for 2018, with 5,000 orders being placed at this year's Bangkok Motor Show."

At the Bangkok Motor Show, Mazda will display its latest model and allow visitors to experience the unrivalled technology in Mazda vehicles. The highlight at Mazda's booth is the Mazda MX-5 RF manual in Soul Red Crystal price Bt2,820,000, while other highlights include the CX-3 crossover, which was the Thailand Car of the Year in 2017, Mazda3 2018 Collection featuring the "Vision Beyond Imagination" theme and coming with the latest technologies including 360-degree View Monitor allowing the driver to see the surroundings of the vehicle. In addition, the Mazda3 also gets a 4-point front sensor system for added safety. Meanwhile, the Mazda2, highly popular among young buyers and Mazda's most popular model in Thailand, is also exhibited along with the BT-50 PRO pickup and the all-new Mazda CX-5 that was formerly the leader in the Thai SUV market. The Bangkok Motor Show is considered as the stage where new Mazda models with the latest technologies are displayed.

Mazda continues to strive in maintaining its technological leadership in order to provide customers with driving perfection, whether through SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS that ensures excellent driving dynamics or the intelligent G-VECTORING CONTROL (GVC) system that further improves performance as well as ride quality to match the "Jinba-Ittai" (rider and horse as one) philosophy.

In addition, Mazda has given great care to every detail starting from the design stage of the exterior and interior using the KODO design concept that combines simple lines with powerful movement resulting in a highly dynamic appearance.

It received strong customer response and was able to clinch the leadership in the small passenger car and eco car segment."
