KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R or The Beast features rustic characteristics with fierce looks including LED headlight perfect for far-distance penetration, the first headlight innovation with Heatsink/Carrier, and multi-function display with enhanced TFT Full Color interface and Race On key system or a single push button start. The Beast features 1,301cc, dual-cylinder, 4-stroke engine with 130 kW/177 maximum horsepower at 9,750rpm and 141 Nm at 7,000rpm. The model comes with 6-gears transmission with Brembo ABS brake whose safety is guaranteed with Lean-Angle sensitive ABS which incorporates technologies from the actual racetrack. The technology allows the 1290 SUPER DUKE R an ability to perceive its lean angle and subsequently automatically adjust its brake system to work accordingly. It also ensures better speed control suitable for various riding conditions and prevents falls when going through curves. The MTC or Motorcycle Traction Control comes into play to keep its riding balance and guarantee a smooth ride. The 1290 SUPER DUKE R comes with 48mm WP-USD dual front shock and WP-Monoshock (125/156mm) and light-weighted aluminum single-side swingarm designed for more active ride and to wake up the riding instinct of all bikers with its ability to adjust Ride Mode – be it Comfort Mode, Street Mode or Sport Mode – to suit all road conditions and riding styles. SuperMoto Mode is also available as a new, powerful option, allowing riders to turn off rear wheel's ABS for a riding excitement. The Beast also comes with special optional adds-on to bring its power to the max with Performance Pack which comprises MSR – Motor Slip Regulation preventing rear wheel spin during swift gear shift and Quickshifter+ for more comfort as well as application KTM MY RIDE which connects KTM 1290

SUPER DUKE R with rider's smartphone for navigation, music listening and hand-free mobile use. Track Pack gives riders the maximum speed just like in the racetrack with Free Engine Map Selection in three ride modes—Track, Sport and Street—for optimum torque and acceleration. Besides, this optional pack includes Launch Control, Spin Adjuster and Anti-wheelie Off features. KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R is available in two colors: white and black at 1,375,000 baht."
