Volvo Car Thailand opens the doors to true Scandinavian luxury in its new retail experience in Khon Kaen

Volvo Car Thailand is proud to announce the grand opening of its latest retail experience in Khon Kaen, where Scandinavian luxury and a warm Swedish welcome will greet every customer. This new dealership will be a prime example of the "Volvo Retail Experience" which is focussed entirely on customer satisfaction, comfort and high levels of visibility all within a distinctive Nordic design aesthetic of clean architectural lines that create an atmosphere of 'cool on the outside, warm on the inside'.

Located on Maliwan Road, Khon Kaen, Tanasit Distribution Co.,Ltd., is owned by Mr. Aviruth Pongsagnagnarn, winner of the 'Best Distributor in the Northeast Region Award' (2016). A native citizen of Khon Kaen, Mr. Aviruth Pongsagnagnarn has a thorough understanding of the local customer market and holds specialised marketing, product and service distribution knowledge, having worked with multinational companies for over 7 years. He emphasises, "When the opportunity arose to collaborate with Volvo and create a car dealership, I was very impressed by the emphasis placed on building trust and connection with customers. There is a lot of potential to develop the business in Khon Kaen and I look forward to learning more about Volvo's CSR initiatives."

Volvo is changing the car dealership experience in ways that allows customers to not only feel more comfortable but also more connected with the Volvo brand itself. This will be a welcomed alternative to what is on offer from Swedish brands in the market. Unlike traditional dealerships customers can park directly in front of the building and walk inside through a wooden entrance that conveys true Scandinavian style and is complemented by an interior clad in opaque glass with clear windows to display the latest cars. The showroom has been transformed into a modern living room, where customers can relax on Scandinavian furniture and enjoy free Wi-Fi and coffee. Moreover, thanks to the open design and interior glazing, customers have a clear view of what is going on within the workshop area so as they can see, first-hand, the care and attention to detail being given to their car during servicing visits.
