Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. today announced that the all-new Honda City Generation 5, which has received an overwhelming response with many mentions in the media and positive customer feedback, is a tremendous success with over 2,000 bookings recorded all over Thailand only one week after its official launch on November 25. The launch has attracted a large number of visitors to Honda's booth at the 36th Thailand International Motor Expo 2019 for a first-hand experience with the all-new Honda City. This success underlines Honda City's strong positioning as a popular city car, and the new model has been continually developed in every aspect including performance, safety technology, and functionality with lower prices for every variant compared to the previous generation. In addition, this is the first time Honda is providing a special booking service at the Expo for customers from every province to book any Honda model.

The overwhelming response to the all-new Honda City has again made it a phenomenon. Honda's booth at the 36th International Motor Expo overflows with visitors every day, and the model's impressive number of bookings only a week after the official launch, both reflect how it meets customer needs for a city car. The all-new Honda City is powered by a new 1.0-liter DOHC VTEC TURBO engine that generates a maximum 122 PS, offering superior control and confidence in every drive.
