Mazda sales figure continues to increase, reflecting market recovery, unveils genuine KENSHO accessories for Mazda3

Mazda reveals that the sales of Mazda vehicle in each model increase continuously especially the Mazda3, Mazda CX-3 and Mazda CX-8 that has the growth rate of almost 100% when compared to the total sales in June. As a result, the total sales of Mazda in July reaches to 3,040 units which is considered as the highest total sales during the last 4 months after the pandemic of Covid-19. More importantly, Mazda aims to organize many promotional activities in Bangkok and nationwide throughout August to meet the recovering economic situation.

Mr. Chanchai Trakarnudomsuk, President of Mazda Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd. said, “It is a good news to see the gradually increase of car sales figure during the past 3-4 months. Although the sales figure is not equivalent to the same period of last year, if compared year-on-year, it is still a positive sign that automotive industry is continuously recovering after the uncertainty of customers about the Covid-19 situation limited their purchasing power. From the total sales in July, it can be considered that it is the highest total sales of Mazda during the past 4 months. The minimum total sales is at 1,012 units in April and increases by 58% to 1,602 units in May. It rises again in June by 65% to 2,642 units and increases by 15% to 3,040 in July. The trend of Mazda sales is consistent with the trend of automotive industry that have a tendency to increase.

In July 2020, Mazda has an overall sales of 3,040 units. It can be divided into 1,653 units of Mazda2, which is the most popular model among Thai customers followed by 463 units of Mazda CX-30, the model that has just been unveiled in March and at present it has a cumulative sales of around 2,500 units. Mazda CX-3 has a total sales of 300 units while Mazda3 has 249 units, Mazda CX-5 has 157 units, Mazda CX-8 has 133 units, Mazda BT-50 PRO has 82 units and Mazda MX-5 has 3 units respectively. When compared to the sales in June, the sales of Mazda3 increased by 31%, Mazda3 increased by 83%, Mazda CX-3 increased by 73%, Mazda CX-8 increased by 64% and Mazda BT-50 PRO increased by 41%. From these sales figures, as a result, Mazda has a cumulative sale of 18,448 units.

Moreover, Mazda has planned to organize many promotional events to provide special offer to customers i.e. Mazda Big Day event that will be organized at all Mazda showroom nationwide from 15-16 August 2020, Big Motor Sale event that will be held at BITEC Bangna from 21-30 August 2020 and Mazda SKYACTIV Expo will be held at Ayutthaya City Park from 25-31 August 2020. The aim of activities is to meet the demand of recovering automotive market and to reach more customers in each area.

To celebrate the first anniversary of Mazda3, Mazda has unveiled “KENSHO”, Mazda3’s new accessories that has been designed to enhance its outstanding appearance. It has been designed for both Mazda3 Sedan and Fastback models. The KENSHO Sedan body kit set comprises of front under garnish, side under garnish and rear under garnish which is priced at 13,000 THB* and the KENSHO Fastback body kit set comprises of front under garnish, side under garnish, rear under garnish and rear roof garnish which is priced at 15,000 THB. The ALL-NEW MAZDA3 is available in both sedan and 5-door fastback body styles, selling price from THB 969,000 and 0% interest rate and they come with Free 5-year Labor cost for Periodic Maintenance, 5-year Extended Warranty** and Mazda Premium Insurance.
