Heineken has teamed up with Greyhound’s creative guru Bhanu Inkawat and veterans in the design, architecture, lighting and dining service industries to create ‘GreenSpace by Greyhound’ on the top three floors of Zen World Tower which promises to give Bangkok residents and visitors a truly inspiring beer park experience during November to December 2009.

At the launch party at Zen World Tower, Chalit Nakpawan and his artist friends including Pornpilai-Jiradech Meemalai, M.L.Chiratorn Chirapravati, Wasinburee Supanichvoraparch, Jitsing Somboon, Thaweesak Srithongdee, Ravit Teutvongse, Sangthong Keduthong, Natapol Liyavanija and Putipong Chaowakul showcased their art pieces inspired by Heineken [information on art pieces and comments from artists are in the attached fact sheet]. Tul from Apartment Khun Pa will be deejaying funk and hip-hop together with Num T-bone, on percussion, to energize and liven up the party.

Prin Malakul, Thai Asia Pacific Brewery’s Marketing Director, said, “Heineken is breathing a fresh new meaning into beer gardens by blending design, art and music that sets it apart as a premium brand.”

Around 3,000 sq.m. of vacant space has been transformed into a funky creative space. The top three floors of Zen World Tower are designed and decorated under three styles — Suburban, City, and Penthouse Art Yards. The ‘GreenSpace by Greyhound’ beer park can accommodate over 1,200 visitors.

These visitors can enjoy the creative and playful theme that is reflected in the overall venue design and art display pieces. Also, they can appreciate and enjoy the fusion cuisine specially prepared by Greyhound Caf้’s chefs and served artistically on unique utensils.

Customers can expect to experience an uplifting beer park experience, better service and more convenience without having to waste time exchanging food coupons or using cash to buy mundane food as Heineken has set up a pre-paid dining card system. The card is available at ‘GreenSpace by Greyhound’ beer park, Floor 18-20, Zen World Tower and at all ThaiTicket Major counters.

On the music front, Heineken fans can enjoy great music performances by Thailand’s well-known bands and musicians who will be rendering their songs as close to their fans as they possibly can. In addition, Heineken is introducing a ‘one-of-a-kind’ entertainment under the theme ‘here today, gone tomorrow’ whereby Thailand’s leading artists and bands will be making ‘surprise’ performances unannounced.

For those who are connected to their digital social networks, WiFi 3G by True Move allows them to take photos of the funky creative venue with the panoramic views of Bangkok, and post their images on Facebook or Twitter and keep their friends updated.

The GreenSpace by Greyhound beer park is open from November to December 2009 only. Doors open at 18:00 hrs and seating is on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis.
