The ‘33rd Anniversary’ campaign of Mister Donutsuccessfully refreshes the brand image,increases sales, and leads to branch expansionboosted by intensive marketing communication

Mister Donut is delighted to report the unprecedented success of its brand activities held throughout 2011 to celebrate its 33rd Anniversary. This major modernizing effort has significantly helped strengthen the company’s brand image. In 2012, Mister Donut plans to further expand branches to cover every province nationwide. The brand will also be promoted through social network sites and mobile applications, and at the same time, new products will be continuously introduced to the market.

Mr. Thiradej Chirathivat, CEO, Central Restaurants Group Co., Ltd., stated that, “The year 2011 marked the 33rd Anniversary of Mister Donut and the company celebrated this auspicious occasion by making bold efforts in rebuilding and strengthening its brand image for the first time in 33 years.

Various special promotions were launched throughout the year, including, the ‘Donut Day’ and a lucky draw program to win marvelous prizes valued at over 3.3 Million Baht.”

“This brand refresh campaign is the biggest brand-building endeavor ever organized by Mister Donut in Thailand. Our modernizing efforts cover virtually all aspects of our brand, from store design to logo, to staff uniforms, and to packaging design – all of which helped instill a sense of liveliness and modernization to the Mister Donut brand. Our year-round marketing activities in 2011 received excellent feedback from customers and immensely increased both sales and profits. In addition Mister Donut be so honored from Mr. Teruji Yamamura President and CEO Duskin Co.,Ltd. Japan which is the parent company of Global Mister Donut was congratulated” explained, Mr. Thiradej.

Mr. Thiradej further added that, “This year, Mister Donut aims to continue its progressive stride from last year by expanding its branches to cover all provinces of Thailand. Currently, the company has 265 branches in 65 provinces. In addition, we plan to continuously introduce new ‘Japanese-inspired’ products to satisfy our Thai customers even further.”

“In 2012, new marketing strategies will be carried out both Above the Line and Below the Line. We will also focus more on promoting our products through social network sites and mobile applications. Moreover, various interesting Customer Relations Management (CRM) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities will also be implemented.” said, Mr. Thiradej.
