Clariant presents three innovative product ranges based on its Secret Code of Beauty concept at in-cosmetics Asia

Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, is featuring three exciting Personal Care product ranges that are part of the company’s new Secret Code of Beauty concept at the in-cosmetics Asia exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand from October 29 to 31 (Hall 101-103, Booth D30) at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center (BITEC). A presentation by Mildred Estrada, Technical Accounts Manager Clariant Singapore, entitled “Uncover the Secret Code of Beauty with Aristoflex® Velvet” will provide in-depth information on the benefits of the innovative new Aristoflex Velvet polymer and the principles of Clariant’s Secret Code of Beauty.

With the launch of Nipaguard® Zero preservative blends, Clariant is responding to market demand for a reliable and effective alternative to parabens at a comparable price. They are based on Clariant’s novel and patented 100% renewable Velsan® SC synergistic booster. Containing no halogens or formaldehydes, four new Nipaguard Zero blends have been developed for use in rinse-off and leave-on applications, wet wipes and difficult-to-preserve formulations. An Ecocert®-approved option is also available. Extensive testing to meet the highest standards ensures that formulators can have complete confidence in the effectiveness of all four blends to deliver the same levels of performance as traditional preservatives.

Plantasens® natural ingredients surprise the senses naturally. Recently acquired from CRM International, this innovative range includes plant-based actives, unique emulsifiers, waxes and a broad selection of emollients that range from vegetable oils and natural butters to alternatives to silicones, petroleum and lanolin. As the majority of Plantasens products are Ecocert®1-approved, they satisfy the requirements for the development of natural cosmetic products.

Adding a touch of luxury to all skin care formulations through its soft, velvety feel, Aristoflex Velvet is the latest addition to Clariant’s versatile Aristoflex polymer range. Suitable for a broad range of applications, skin types and age groups, this product can be added at any formulation step and is characterized by excellent solvent compatibility. It is ideal for use in clear formulations and comes pre-neutralized and ready to use.
