Big C launches an e-commerce pure player in partnership with Cdiscount France and Casino Vietnam

Mr. Kudatara Nagaviroj, Executive Advisor Corporate Affairs, Big C Supercenter Pcl said that Big C accelerates its development in the e-commerce business with the creation of a pure e-commerce player in ASEAN, in partnership with Cdiscount, the leader in e-commerce in France, and with Group Casino’s Vietnam activities.

The websites will be launched in Thailand and in Vietnam under the Cdiscount brand. They will benefit from Cdiscount’s expertise in the e-commerce business developed over the last ten years as well as the know-how of market-leader banners in both Thailand and Vietnam, building on:

- a large assortment of products at the best price,

- a comprehensive store network allowing a multi-channel strategy,

- a marketing tailored to local specificities.

The launch of the websites is expected within the coming weeks in both countries.

The activities will enrich Big C’s multi-channel strategy and complement its existing website Big C Shopping Online, allowing the company to increase its footprint on markets where e-commerce initiates its growth.
