Tableware PE’TYE by HPT Released with Planning to reach 150 million Baht, HPT feels confident in PE’TYE positive feedback and 150 million baht sales this year. Thailand’s ceramic tableware export market is projected to reach 3,000 million baht in value with total 2015 sales growth of HPT expected at 15% to 150 million baht. Intensive marketing strategies along with 5 million baht budget for local and foreign markets are revealed.

Niran Chourkittisopon Managing Director of Home Pottery PCL or HPT, leading manufacturer of Fine china tableware for hotel and restaurant industries, disclosed that its tableware brand PE’TYE has been introduced for a while to customers in Europe, Australia, and Asia and has seen a very impressive welcome from customers.

In an attempt to add value to HPT, PE’TYE position is set as a medium–high end tableware brand and projected to perform 10 million baht sales this year. Apart from PE’TYE, HPT is also a distributor of other brands including “Heart @ Home”, “One” and “Hotel & Heart” while co-manufacturing and co-designing exported tableware goods and various tableware brands in other countries as well.

In 2014, Thailand’s ceramics export is seemingly having a robust growth with the overall ceramic tableware (such as dishes and bowls etc.) market value at 3,000 million baht with the growth at 27%. This year, HPT is foreseeing its total sales growth at 150 million baht, up 15% from previous year at 131 million baht.

“Currently, core target market of HPT is completely export business, contacting a niche target group of 3-5 star hotel customers in United States, countries in Europe, Australia, Asia and Middle East, considered as a high-potential customer group and able to generate better profit than other groups.” added Niran.

Nevertheless, given that competitiveness in foreign market is considerably high, HPT has been preparing 2 year plan to inject 5 million baht budget into its marketing activities and apply the more intensive marketing strategies in product development, functional design and competitive price.

Nijawan Chourkittisopon Marketing Director of HPT, revealed that PE’TYE is the outstanding tableware brand, in terms of quality, durable and attractive design, among any other brands in the market. The “Low Profile Glazed Foot” advanced technology from England has been used in production, protecting bottom of the product from scratching each other or scratching the table and enabling the product to be more durable. This is where the brand name PE’TYE comes from – One of the nine gems that looks beautiful and strong like diamond but in a affordable price.

“Having been released since mid 2013, PE’TYE has been participating in local and foreign trade fairs and gaining a lot of attention from foreign customers since then. PE’TYE products are selling to existing customers who are distributor for hospitality supply and available in medium-high end tableware store in other countries. The company is planning to expand to more countries including South America, Middle East and AEC via international trade fairs continuously” unveiled Nijawan.
