Siam Daikin Sales Co Ltd, the leader in air conditioning innovations from Japan, has introduced the Daikin Inverter R32 Smart, an air conditioner that saves energy and does not damage the ozone layer.

The unit has been proven through SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) tests by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) to result in energy savings of 23.76 score, and in addition is equipped with a swing compressor that significantly decreases friction vibration, reducing energy usage in total by up to 40 percent.

The Daikin Inverter R32 Smart applies the R32 refrigerant, which does not completely deplete the ozone layer, contributes three times less global warming than the current R410A refrigerants, and has 60 percent more cooling capacity than R22 refrigerant, resulting in faster and more intensive cooling with more energy saving.

Also featured is the Intelligent Eye, a motion sensor tracker that controls the airflow for the best cooling comfort and energy saving by adjusting the temperature by 2 degrees Celsius when people leave the room, and reverts when they come back.

Other intelligent functions include 3D Airflow, giving coolness to every part of the room; titanium apatite photocatalyst filters that deliver purified air with elimination of unwanted odours and bacteria for maximum health protection; plus the Econo mode that reduces energy usage by up to 30 percent, as well as which offers undisturbed sleeping experience producing sound levels of only 22 dB.

Daikin Inverter R32 Smart is available for 7 BTU sizes from 9,000 to 33,000 BTU at a starting price 28,600 baht, and offers a five-year warranty for the compressor, three years' warranty for the evaporator and PCB.
