Casio Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. announced to penetrate projector market in Thailand with green and energy-saving innovations. Ranked as the world's number 1 Laser/LED Projector brand, Casio offers products with a prolonged lifespan of up to 20,000 hours. It also appoints SVOA Public Co., Ltd. as a sole distributor to expand market coverage to all sectors.

Mr. Koji Shinjo, Managing Director, Casio marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., remarked, "In line with its corporate creed, 'Creativity and Contribution', we are dedicated to creating innovative, high-performing products that contribute to environmental sustainability. With a global market share of 80% in the Laser & LED Hybrid projector segment, we have continued to be a technological innovator in mercury lamp-free projectors with over 2,500 lumen brightness."

True to its tagline, "Lamp Free for a Brighter Future", Casio's Hybrid projectors help contribute to environmental conservation by eliminating the use of mercury lamps. With a Laser and LED Hybrid light source, it means that the projectors do not contribute to mercury or carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere.

Moreover, Casio's projectors have a prolonged lifespan of up to 20,000 hours (approximately 10 times that of mercury lamp projectors) and require approximately half the energy consumption of mercury lamp projectors, enabling greater cost savings in the long term. This yields a lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) with Laser & LED Hybrid light source projectors and eliminating the hassle of routine maintenance and lamp replacements.

"Over the past 6 years, we are the world's number 1 Laser/LED Projector brand. This is the first time that we officially introduce projectors and a sole distributor in Thailand. We are confident that SVOA will be a major driving force to enable our expansion to cover all target sectors such as private, government and education," added Mr. Shinjo.

With the introduction of 8 new models in Core and Advanced series, this affordably-priced line up of mercury lamp-free Laser & LED Hybrid projectors is available for offices and educational institutions. They are 3 models in the Core Series (XJ-V10X, XJ-V100W and XJ-V110W)and 5 other models in the Advanced Series (XJ-F10X, XJ-F20XN, XJ-F100W, XJ-F200WN and XJ-F210WN). Both Advanced and Core series' feature a 1.5x optical zoom lens that enables more flexibility in projector placement at varying locations and an Instant Light Control function that makes it easier to adjust brightness for better image quality no matter the lighting condition. The Advanced Series also offers an more display format options with HDMI terminal connections.

All models can reach maximum brightness in less than five seconds, and can shut down immediately without the need for a cool-down period, reducing set-up time and improving efficiency in a boardroom or classroom setting.

Mr. Thitakorn Ussayaporn, Chief Operating Officer, SVOA Public Co., Ltd. (a sole distributor of Casio's projectors in Thailand), stated "With the potential and outstanding features of Casio's products, its brand recognition and distribution on global scale, and the quality of products with standards that cover product utilization, its projector line focuses on innovative LED lamps with hybrid functions will help minimize costs on energy consumption and maintenance. In addition, the focus on environment friendliness would further contributor to market growth in conjunction with our distribution channel of over 1,000 resellers. This collaboration would increase market share by 5 – 10%."

"Besides the strong distribution network of IT products, SVOA will join force with Casio to arrange a series of trainings on unique functions, equipment, utilization and after sales services for resellers along with marketing activities to stimulate sales volume and market values for Casio," concluded Mr. Thitakorn.
