Additionally, AIS Serenade customers will enjoy exclusive privileges: Buy a second cup of a Starbucks beverage and receive a 50% discount on Thursdays from 4 pm to midnight (or until the store closes). This special offer, the first of its kind in Thailand, further enhances the experience for AIS customers and Starbucks fans alike. It's part of a business relationship intended to offer the ultimate benefit and satisfaction.

Mr. Hui Weng Cheong, Chief Operating Officer of AIS, said: "AIS is dedicated to providing a special experience in tune with the digital lifestyle of Thai people in the 4G era. That is why we have developed the Best Network for mobile, encompassing 3G, 4G and the recently launched 4.5G, fixed broadband and public WiFi.

"To further this growth, we continue to expand our AIS SUPER WiFi network, which is now available at 120,000 hotspots all over Thailand – including shopping malls, community malls, airports, universities, hospitals and BTS stations. By the end of 2016, our network will cover more than 160,000 hotspots so that people can remain connected all times, when they are away from home or work, be it indoors or outdoors.

"AIS also focuses on building business partnerships in different industries, emphasizing chain stores and leading brands with branches nationwide. This helps us to expand AIS SUPER WiFi to many locations.

"Today, we have reached another milestone through this significant collaboration with Starbucks, a world-class brand and a great favourite of Thai coffee lovers. This deal allows AIS to provide the maximum 650 Mbps SUPER WiFi service, to AIS customers who are also fans of Starbucks at all the latter's branches (except Suvarnabhumi Airport) around Thailand.

"Furthermore, AIS Serenade customers will receive a 50% discount on their second drink at Starbucks stores joining our promotion on Thursdays from 4 pm until the stores close (except branches in airports and drive-thrus) from today until June 2, 2016. Each customer can use one phone number to obtain one discount throughout the campaign period (limited to 10,000 discounts per day for all). This is a one-of-a-kind experience for AIS customers.

AIS is delighted that Starbucks has placed its trust and confidence in our network by allowing us to offer our advanced digital network in its stores. Be assured that our customers will experience the best."
Mr. Murray Darling, Managing Director of Starbucks Coffee (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said:

"It is with our core philosophy that customers and partners (employees) are at the center of everything Starbucks does – drives innovation throughout the company and helps shape the future of retail. Starbucks passion to innovate is apparent in the way the company operates from sourcing coffee beans to developing new beverages, and from creating unique store concepts throughout 258 locations across Thailand to providing unrivalled digital breakthroughs that are second to none.

Encompassing our Digital Strategy, Starbucks strives to be a networked brand by building a meaningful relationship   with our customers and partners through a robust digital portfolio from Starbucks Cards to My Starbucks Rewards™ program, and Starbucks Thailand mobile application to a free wireless high-speed internet service. Today, we are thrilled to offer our customers that next level of convenience with the AIS SUPER WiFi that affords greater transmission-reception efficiency, so they can seamlessly browse internet, and connect through social media while enjoying their favorite food or beverage offering right in our stores. This announcement also marks an important time for our customers – they will have the freedom to stay connected with Starbucks experience effortlessly in Starbucks stores.
