MONO29 and SONY PICTURES TELEVISION close Multi-Year Deal for Features and Series in Thailand

MONO29 Channel (Mono Twenty-Nine) is excited to announce that it has inked a multi-year output deal with its long-term partner Sony Pictures Television (SPT), a leader in world-class premium entertainment, encompassing over 70 feature films and television series per year. SPT's slate of new feature releases will have their free television premiere in Thailand on MONO29 commencing April 2019. MONO29 and Sony Pictures Television are excited to embark on a brand-new partnership and are committed to bring an array of Hollywood content to Thai audience.

Mr. Nawamin Prasopnet, Managing Director of Mono Broadcast Company Limited (MONO29) of the Mono Group, said that "MONO29 channel is pleased to be the business partner of Sony Pictures Television (SPT), the world leader in premium entertainment content. Under this special partnership, SPT's movies are made available in to MONO29 on earlier timeframe than previously possible with other Hollywood studios. Take Venom as an example, the movie was released in the United States in October 2018 and will be available on MONO29 in May 2019."

The slate of movies in the deal include Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Venom, Spider-Man: Homecoming, The Equalizer 2, Baby Driver, Insidious: The Last Key, Peter Rabbit, Alpha, Searching, Blade Runner 2049, Dark Tower, Passengers, Life and Money Monster, etc.

This collaboration is expected to boost MONO29 to further success and will increase its prominence to a larger audience in Thailand. MONO29 will continue to be the front and foremost entertainment station for movies and series lovers.
