On 17 July 2019, Dr. Eden Y Woon, President of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) presented a mock cheque to Ms. Ying Chen, a Master's student in AIT's School of Management, who is the first recipient of the Mr. Edmond Yue Student Exchange Scholarship Program.

Ms. Chen received THB 100,000 -- half of her expenses to undertake an exchange program at EDHEC Business School, France from August – December 2019.
