Robertshaw Opens Thailand Distribution Center

Robertshaw, a global engineering and manufacturing company focused on controls and solutions for residential white goods and commercial appliances, announced today that it has opened a new 16,000 square foot distribution center in Thailand.

Approximately 1.5 hours by car from Bangkok, the new facility is centrally located in Sriracha, Chonburi Province and is in close proximity to several appliance manufacturing companies in the area. The facility will provide just-in-time delivery of mission critical components and value added services including product testing, system assembly and light manufacturing.

Mark Balcunas, CEO and President stated, "Our investment in Thailand supports our on-going footprint strategy of providing world-class engineering and state of the art manufacturing in the same regions where our customer are operating and growing."

Balcunas further remarked, "With over 200 engineers spread across the globe, Robertshaw is well prepared to provide engineering expertise on a broad range of core electromechanical, mechanical and electronic technologies and applications."

Robertshaw operates in 15 countries around the world. Besides the newly opened facility in Thailand, other facilities in Asia include factories in Qingdao, China and in Pune, India as well as a distribution center in North Rocks, Australia.
