PwC Thailand to host 60th Anniversary Charity Run with trophies from H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn

The wait is almost over for PwC Thailand's 60th Anniversary "Restore Vision, Run for Sight" Charity Run. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has presented PwC Thailand with two Royal Trophies to be awarded at the firm's event, which will bring together 3,000 runners for a good cause.

"We are humbly honoured that H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has recently presented PwC Thailand with two Royal Trophies to be awarded at the firm's 60th Anniversary "Restore Vision, Run for Sight" Charity Run on 22 September."

Proceeds raised from PwC Thailand's 2019 Charity Run will go to support the purchase of a posterior vitrectomy machine for the Vitreo-Retina Research Unit in the Ophthalmology Department of King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, the Thai Red Cross Society. The event will also mark our 60th Anniversary of doing business in Thailand. It's an opportunity for all employees, alumni, clients and the general public to celebrate this special occasion together.

PwC Thailand's "Restore Vision, Run for Sight" Charity Run is scheduled for 22 September 2019 from 05.00am onwards, with the starting and finishing points at the firm's office building of Bangkok City Tower. Some 3,000 runners will be racing in the capital's financial district of Sathorn – Rama IV Road. There will be two different types of races:

1. Fun Run 4KM

2. Mini Marathon 10KM

The Princess' trophies will be awarded to the winners of the 10KM race in the overall category (male and female). An additional 120 cash prizes worth a total of 100,000 baht will also be awarded to the top 60 finishers of the 10KM category.
