Photo Release: Esso and ExxonMobil celebrating 125th Anniversary of Presence in Thailand

Mr. Sontirat Sontijirawong, Minister of Energy, presides over the 125th Anniversary Celebration of Esso and ExxonMobil in Thailand "Bond Together, Grow the Future" and joined by Mr. Jeremy Osterstock, Thailand Lead Country Manager of Esso and ExxonMobil affiliates in Thailand as well as Mr. Jon Gibbs, President of ExxonMobil Global Services Company.

On this occasion, Mr. Jeremy said, "Throughout these many years, we have maintained an unwavering focus on responsible operations, and conducting our business as a valued corporate citizen within the Kingdom of Thailand. We continuously invest in the communities where we operate, with a focus on health, safety, education and environmental conservation. Looking ahead to the next 125 years, I am equally excited for the opportunities before us. We will bring the full strength of ExxonMobil and our employees to drive innovation in the Thailand energy sector".

The event also presented insightful panel discussions on a special topic of "Moving Forward to the Future" to effectively handle digital era transformation by prominent public speakers including Dr. Sutapa Amornvivat – Chief Executive Officer and Founder of SCB Abacus, Mr. Taveesak Saengthong – Managing Director of Oracle Corporation (Thailand), and Dr. Ake Pattaratanakun – Director of Master of Branding and Marketing, Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University. The panel was moderated by Dr. Taweesak Bunluesin, Public and Government Affairs Manager of ExxonMobil Limited.

Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited and ExxonMobil affiliates in Thailand have been operating businesses for 125 years, selling fuels under the "Esso" brand; lubricants marketed under the "Mobil" brand; and chemicals sold under the "ExxonMobil" brand. Also included is a Bangkok Global Business Center that provides valuable services to ExxonMobil affiliates around the world. The companies continue to grow both in terms of work expansion, and also the value for the Thai economy and society.
