Thai bourse to list and trade CyberPlanet Interactive PCL (CYBER) on May 27

The Thai bourse’s Market for Alternative Investment (mai) will list CyberPlanet Interactive PCL (CYBER) on May 27, 2010, after the company raised THB 96 million (USD 2.97 million).

This firm is a leading game software developer with domestic and international customers, using the registered trademark “CyberPlanet Interactive”, The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Group Head, Issuer & Listing Department and mai President Chanitr Charnchainarong reported.

The CYBER group consists of the company and its three subsidiaries, each of which CYBER holds 99.99% of its shares: (1) Planet G Co., Ltd., a software production house; (2) Blue Wizard Studio Co., Ltd., an animation, computer graphic and sound studio, and (3) Informatix Plus Co., Ltd. an education center for children. CYBER is one of first software game developers in Thailand, and is certified to develop console game software for Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft, the three major console game manufacturers. The group offers products in three categories — console game software, computer game software, and mobile game software, according to the group’s prospectus on May 10, 2010.

CYBER has a total paid-up capital of THB 140 million (USD 4.33 million), consisting of 220 million existing common shares and 60 million shares from its capital increase, with a par value of THB 0.50 each. At its initial public offering (IPO) on May 11-13, the company raised THB 96 million (USD 2.97 million), by offering 60 million shares at THB 1.60 per share. The funds raised will be used for software game research and development, equipments, the education centre for children, and as working capital. Finnex Advisory Co., Ltd. was its financial advisor.

CYBER's dividend payment policy is to pay no less than 40% of net profit after corporate tax and legal reserves. The company's major shareholders are the SMEs Venture Capital Fund, holding 31.75%; the Vanijwongse Group and related persons, with 29.70%, and Asia Equity Venture Co., Ltd., holding 8.93% of total shares after the IPO.
