Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) will provide Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) PCL with loans for swine farmers under CPF's contract farming system. SCB First Executive Vice President Pikul Srimahunt and CPF Executive Vice President, Swine Research & Development Unit Somkuan Choowatanapakorn recently inked the deal at the SCB Head Office. SCB has budgeted at least 30 billion baht for loans to support small enterprises this year, and contract farming is among businesses that the bank focuses on.
