The donations are scholarships for journalists who win awards from the Foundation as well as for individuals at local educational institutions who support and champion mass media professional development and excellence. Scholarship holders attend an academic training course at the University of Wisconsin in the US for one semester for 4-5 months. The program aims to further develop the quality of journalism in Thailand.
