Fifty BMA boats removed garbage from the Chao Phraya River, starting from the Pinklao Bridge pier and working their way along the river to Siriraj pier before ending at Sathorn pier. The project aims to build awareness about taking care of and preserving rivers by not dumping garbage into them. This is in line with the government’s policy of stressing that everyone has to take responsibility for any waste that they create.
