Photo Release: Bangkok Bank has been appointed custodian for the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) to provide custodian services

Bangkok Bank Executive Chairman Kosit Panpiemras (2nd from right) and Senior Executive Vice President Virasak Suthanthavibul (right) signed an MOU with the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) Secretary General Pravej Ongartsittigul (2nd from left) and Assistant Secretary General, General Administration Chuchatr Pramoolpol (left) to appoint Bangkok Bank as a custodian to safekeep its insurance assets and reserves. Bangkok Bank is the first bank entrusted by the OIC to provide continuous custodian services for three years, with the term running from 2015-2017. Previously the OIC only signed contracts on a year-by-year basis. The OIC is a government body with assets under custody worth approximately Baht 400 billion.
