3 Thai and Japanese alliances jointly open consultancy company in Thailand under the name "Hongo Tsuji and Chavalit Ltd." to offer one-stop accounting and tax services for the growth of Japanese companies in Thailand. 20% growth rate is projected for the 1st year.

Mr. Takashi Kusumoto, Managing Partner, Kusumoto Chavalit & Partners Limited, remarked "Hongo Tsuji Tax & Consulting - the largest accounting and tax consultant in Japan - joins force with Chavalit Law Group - one of the top 4 law firms in Thailand - and Kusumoto Chavalit & Partners Limited (KCP) - the provider of consultancy service on investment, M & A and joint venture for Japanese companies – to announce the establishment of new accounting firm called 'Hongo Tsuji and Chavalit Ltd.' to support the growth of Japanese companies in Thailand. This collaboration would serve over 7,000 Japanese companies in Thailand with better standards for services and qualities of accounting and tax works."

"The reason to expand business into Thailand is the presence of over 7,000 Japanese companies here with small numbers of companies to provide one-stop service for them. Therefore, we decide to expand our business here. We are well-equipped in terms of 3 Thai and Japanese Alliances Join Force to Open quality accounting and tax services that can fulfill the requirements of professionals in both Thai and Japanese companies while offering comprehensive consultancy and law services."

Regarding the overview of Japanese consultancy business, the services were offered by accountants or tax advisors with no experiences or certificates so this causes problems on tax fines. Moreover, the tax services and audits must not be done by the same company but some organizations still use the same companies so they face ethical issues which must be developed and corrected."

Mr. Kusumoto concluded "The initial investment for this new company is 3 million baht. Our focus groups are on production, finance, retail, restaurant and other sectors. We project the growth rate in the beginning to be greater that the growth rate of Thai economy at 20%."
