EXIM Thailand Extends Loan to Goody Move Co., Ltd. to Support Full-Fledged Marine Cargo Services Enhancement

Mr. Kematat Saicheur, Acting President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) and Mr. Nantawat Na-rasri, Managing Director of Goody Move Co., Ltd., recently signed a THB 10.40 million credit facility agreement to finance the Company's project to improve efficiency of one tugboat, two floating crane barges, and one lighter boat, 4 vessels in total, to accommodate the Company's plan to develop fully integrated cargo operation services at EXIM Thailand's Head Office.

EXIM Thailand's Acting President said this financial support aims to enhance Goody Move's fleet efficiency envisaging the high potential of the Company as an SME with more than 12 years in maritime cargo operation and with a consistent growth record. The loan will be used for the Company's 4 vessels improvement, overhaul of heavy equipment and propeller sets, installation of crane engine back-up system, and barge modification to serve as a floating repair yard. It is a move expected to strengthen and uplift the Company's service efficiency to a higher level to serve rising customer needs and sharpen its competitive edge. This is in line with EXIM Thailand's commitment to respond to the government policy to drive the growth of export and related service sectors for the country's economic expansion in the long run.
