Photo Release: Bangkok Bank and Thai Credit Guarantee Corporation (TCG) provide credit guarantee service for 'Start-up & Innovation SMEs’

Bangkok Bank Senior Executive Vice President Siridej Aungudomsin (right) signed an agreement with Thai Credit Guarantee Corporation President Nitid Manoonporn (left) for the Credit Guarantee Scheme Project for 'Start-up & Innovation SMEs'. Ministry of Finance Permanent Secretary Somchai Sujjapongse (middle) presided over the signing ceremony. Up to Baht 10 billion will be provided in credit guarantees under the scheme. SME operators who have been in business for no more than three years (start-ups) and innovative SMEs will each be offered credit guarantees for up to Baht one million. If registered as juristic entities, start-ups will be entitled to receive credit guarantees for up to Baht 5 million, while innovative SMEs will be entitled to receive credit guarantees for up to Baht 20 million. TCG will impose an annual fee of 1-2% of the guaranteed amount and the government will shoulder the first year's annual fee. The scheme will allow entrepreneurs to gain better access to financial sources. Interested entrepreneurs can obtain more information at Bangkok Bank's business centers nationwide.
