CENTENNIAL (S&P Global Ratings) April 17, 2017--S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'A' long-term rating to New Hampton Community School District, Iowa's series 2017 unlimited-tax general obligation (GO) school bonds.

The outlook is stable. "The rating reflects our view of the district's good fund balance and moderate debt burden," said S&P Global Ratings credit analyst Angel Bacio.
"The rating further reflects our view of the district's extremely strong market value per capita and good income levels," Mr. Bacio added.

We understand the bond proceeds will be used to fund various capital improvements throughout the district. New Hampton Community School District School is located in northern Iowa in Chickasaw County roughly 166 miles from Des Moines and serves an estimated population of 6,866.
