SCB announces brief suspension of ATM service during system upgrade

Wednesday 03 May 2017 10:48
Siam Commercial Bank's ATM service will be temporarily unavailable while we upgrade our network to enhance efficiency and security for all types of transactions via ATM. The service interruption will last for about three hours, from 11.59 p.m. on Friday, May 19 to 3 a.m. on Saturday, May 20.

During this brief upgrade period, SCB cards -- including ATM cards, debit cards and credit cards -- cannot be used on any ATM or CDM, including those of other banks. In addition, SCB debit cards cannot be used to purchase goods or services from any merchant via electronic data capture system (EDC). However, SCB credit cards can be used for purchases via merchant EDC as under normal conditions.

During the upgrade, internet banking, SCB Easy Net, mobile banking applications, Easy APP and UP2Me can be used for fund transfers between SCB accounts but cannot be used for fund transfers to other banks.

The Bank would like to apologize for any inconvenience. We urge customers to plan their financial transactions in advance in order to avoid problems during the service suspension period. For more information, please contact SCB Call Center on 0 2777 7777
