Representative Director and CEO Shinichi Inoue offered the following comment "We had many passengers boarding our flights and we have achieved income and profit growth for the fourth consecutive year. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported Peach.

"Last fiscal year, we opened our Bangkok-Naha route, the first such route by an LCC, and we have been making steady progress toward our goal to become a bridge between Japan and Asia. For the people of Thailand and its neighboring countries, this sole route that links Suvarnabhumi International Airport, the closest airport to them, and Okinawa, Japan, was launched in February 2017 and has been enjoying high seat occupancy rates. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the people of Thailand who always offer their support to Peach."

And Peach will move on to its next stage, under the theme, "from price competition to the creation of value". It will continue to offer reasonable fares as it enhances its unique values through experience through initiatives that are not constrained by the frameworks of airlines as it cultivates demand in Asia, where growth continues to be significant.

Peach will continue to prioritize, first and foremost, the safety of its operations and its sound management and aim to become a bridge between Japan and Asia as it makes further advances to demonstrate its uniqueness as a pioneer in the industry.
