KTC pinpoints as a Digital Age Leader as Thailands first credit card company to endorse the E-Coupon strategy for points redemption in mobile phone apps.

KTC pinpoints as a Digital Age Leader and reforms the typical reward points redemption method with the release of the E-Coupon feature on the "TapKTC" mobile application. Members can now redeem points through their phones for the first time in Thailand's credit card market. Targeting digital and lifestyle issues, the application is set to launch on November 1st, 2017.

Mrs. Pranaya Nithananon, Vice President – Credit Card Business, "KTC" orKrungthai Card Public Company Limited, reveals, "KTC previously launched the revamped "TapKTC" mobile application with a new look to compliment the needs of over 3 million users and members for a better and augmented customer experience, through a modern interface and easy access functions which coincides with the usage of digital age members. Recently, KTC had developed new functions in order to reward privileges to members through the E-Coupon in the TapKTC mobile application, for members to receive privileges without the use of the obsolete coupon method. KTC will further utilize E-Coupon as a cutting-edge marketing tool in the redemption of KTC FOREVER REWARDS points, from previously having established itself as Thailand's credit card market leader in the cancellation of the catalogue and change to personalized store or product selections for points redemption."

Miss Sudchavee Banjobdee, Senior Vice President – Credit Card Business,"KTC" adds, "The E-Coupon in the TapKTC mobile application was developed with careful attention in customer needs and behavior for an easy to use and convenient method of privilege redemption that is not a burden to users. Previously members had to redeem privileges through the coupon method which KTC had to deliver, which may take a lengthy delivery time along with the risk of loss during delivery. Having received them, members had to keep the coupons to display to stores in order to redeem, and stores had to keep these coupons as proof for quantifying the number of redemption. In the future members can receive privileges or coupons easily through the TapKTC mobile application that is easy to store, search and use, and can also be used in 3 simple clicks. There are also a separate menu for coupons that have been used for easy verification, and in the case where coupons expire, they will be automatically deleted from TapKTC and will not be a burden for stores to receive and tally the number of usages."

Mr. Deja Thamchaipenet, Business Development Director, SF Corporation Public Company Limited, states, "The cinema and entertainment industry had been making adjustments to complement the changing customer behavior in the digital age. All customer information is not stored in the online system, inversely, customers can also check information, such as show times, reserve seats and pay for movie tickets online or through the mobile application, SF online. Members no longer need to waste time to line up for payments in front of the theatre. Besides this, SF are now proceeding to install 300 "Express Ticket" kiosks in front of 56 SF Cinema branches across the country within 2017, as well as develop the Ticketing system to accompany the E-Coupon function on the TapKTC mobile application and payments through the QR Code method as assigned by the Bank of Thailand to act as an impetus for citizens to make transactions through applications."

Mrs. Pranaya further adds, "KTC will utilize the E-Coupon as a tool on the TapKTC mobile application for members to instantly redeem points into goods, coupons or in-store services. When technology fuses with lifestyle, members who are familiarized with mobile phones applications can now check their points balance and redeem points by themselves in a Cardless form, where previously members who desire to use their points at stores without the EDC machine, or would like to know their points balance before redemption, would not be able to do so. Moreover, KTC is planning to expand alliances with stores in every category in preparation for increases in KTC FOREVER REWARDS points redemption, from the original count of 3,000 stores."

"KTC members can begin using the E-Coupon on the TapKTC mobile application beginning November 1st, 2017 onwards with special privileges with 3 alliances in the first phase: every SF Cinema City, Black Canyon Coffee & Eatery andBurger King branches countrywide, and the marketing team will select additional privileges and develop the E-Coupon system for continuous efficiency. In addition, the marketing team is on track to provide personalized customization based on different members' lifestyles through the paperless E-Coupon method for each individual members. E-Coupon will be one of the strategic tool for Digital Marketing roadmap of KTC by using technology advancement to uplift the service standard for members ' satisfaction." Mrs. Pranaya concludes.
