LONDON--20 Oct--PRNewswire/InfoQuest

For the third successive year, Asia Plantation Capital has garnered the title of 'Forestry Investment Company of the Year' at The European Magazine's Business Awards 2017. Asia Plantation Capital is proud to have been recognised yet again for its progress, competitiveness and outstanding performance in its highly specialised industry sector.

Over many years, The European Magazine has recognised and celebrated achievement, innovation and excellence through its annual awards programme. It covers Global Banking and Finance, Global ESG Leaders and Global Healthcare sectors, as well as regional development in areas such as Europe, Latin America, Africa, Asia and Central Eastern Europe.

Asia Plantation Capital has plantations and agricultural projects on four continents, with operational projects at various stages in Thailand, Malaysia, China, Laos, India, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, North America and Europe. Part of the Asia Plantation Capital Group, Asia Plantation Capital (APC) also serves as plantation and agricultural managers and advisors to several Private Equity Funds that focus on the forestry, farming, and renewable energy sectors.

"We are incredibly proud that Asia Plantation Capital has received this award once again," said Mr Barry Rawlinson, Asia Plantation Capital Group Chief Executive Officer. "We have grown tremendously in the last few years, and with that growth comes rising expectations. This always adds pressure to us as a company, but it's pressure we're confident in dealing with.   It would have been easy to lose sight of what we believe in and what we have always strived to achieve, but rather than getting complacent after receiving yet another prestigious accolade, it simply makes us work harder. The standards have been raised once again, and we will aim to do even better in the future." Rawlinson concluded, "This award is a testament to the fact that we have succeeded by maintaining our core principles and values. We are committed to sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and respect for the environment, and this recognition of our values and efforts is very much appreciated by everyone involved."

Asia Plantation Capital is delighted to be recognised by people within the industry for its efforts in promoting sustainability and environmental awareness.
