Bangkok--15 Nov--KASIKORNBANK

KBank Presidents Mr. Predee Daochai (right), Ms. Kattiya Indaravijaya (center) and Mr. Pipit Aneaknithi, along with other executives and staff members, announced KBank's readiness to offer K PLUS SHOP service nationwide, after the service was approved from the Bank of Thailand's Regulatory Sandbox. The campaign ""Pipjang on Tour"" will be promoted nationwide to boost merchants' sales using the K PLUS SHOP mobile app that allows the use of QR Codes for payments via the mobile banking services of all banks. For the first time in Thailand, Chinese tourists traveling to Thailand can make payments via QR Code scans by using their own popular apps- Alipay and WeChat Pay-that will increase merchants' sales of goods and services, given the convenient payment system across the country. KBank is targeting that around 200,000 merchants will use K PLUS SHOP in 2017 and the number will reach 1 million in 2018.
