KTC moves continuously forwards with its KTC LEARN & EARN apprenticeship program for the 15th year under the concept "Digital #Me", preparing university students to keep up with the Digital Age through five activities that provide educational experiences beyond the classroom setting. Simultaneously, students get to embark on an endeavor to explore inspiration in the workforce, and learn more about how to change everyday life within a society driven by digital advancements.

Ms. Podchaneeporn Chamnanpukdee, Vice President – Human Resources, "KTC" or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, reveals, "KTC has been continuously launching the KTC LEARN & EARN project to encourage skill development among youths in Thai society for the 15th year. The current edition of the program for 2018 is focused on developing qualified generations of young people into society under the concept "Digital #Me", with an objective for participating university students to keep pace with the modern Digital Age. Nowadays digital technology has become greatly integrated within both the business sector and society, and has impacted everyday life of the people in this period. These forces gave rise to the New Economic movement, causing the proliferation of e-commerce. While financial transactions can be performed more conveniently, customers can also make transactions through mobile applications. KTC has been valuing the importance of digitalization all along, and regards the KTC LEARN & EARN program as another outlet that will develop and better prepare university students, in order for them to extrapolate their knowledge and understanding of digital technology and apply them to everyday life, in the work and classroom setting, as well as taking what they learned from the activities organized this year, to help and give back to society."

"There are 5 activities that are organized and executed in accordance with the "Digital #Me" concept. These activities include, 1) Study and learn about new innovations such as advanced technologies in Thailand and ASEAN; 2) Encourage students to think outside the box or unconventionally by using technology as an important factor in work and to generate income; 3) Invite guest speakers who are experts in fields of social responsibility and organize workshops to suggest ways to contribute to society by adapting digital technology and integrating the act of giving back together; 4) Learn how to take innovations and adapt them for successful communication and 5) Take achievements from the 3rd workshop and utilize it under the overarching "Using Digital Technology to Aid Society" concept; KTC will invite experts in various fields related to digital technology to directly share their knowledge and experiences to students. KTC believes that program participants will not only enjoy but also benefit from these activities," Ms. Podchaneeporn explicates.

Ms. Sudchavee Banjobdee, Senior Manager - Credit Card Business, also shared her insights on the topic of "How to adapt your work and daily life in a society driven by digital technology" within the press conference.

"Annually, a high amount of students graduate and enter the entry-level job search market, causing relatively high competition in the labor market. Students must adapt and better prepare themselves to meet the needs of the labor market. In the Digital Age, it is necessary for students to keep up with technology. Simply attaining knowledge may no longer be sufficient; students should develop management skills to combat complex problems, and learn to analyze and think creatively." Ms. Sudchavee states.

The KTC LEARN & EARN apprenticeship program was established and implemented by "KTC" or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, in 2003, as a project for university students across Thailand to efficiently use their free time after classes by working at KTC with compensation by the hour. The project's objective is for students to be educated, develop and search their potential and to become self-reliant. Currently there are 90 students participating in the program, and 303 who were later registered and appointed as KTC employees. In the past KTC has received over 26,000 interested applications by university students for the program.
