Ms. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, now 57 years old, graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design, USA.
Her work experiences include the positions of Minister of Tourism and Sports, Vice Chairperson of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, President of Thai-Japanese Association, Member of KBank Board of Directors and Executive Chairperson of Toshiba Thailand Co., Ltd. She is now a member of the Special Advisory Committee of the Prime Minister.
Mr. Patchara Samalapa, 47, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University inPittsburgh, PA, and an M.B.A. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA. He started his career at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Securities (UK) before working with Phatra Securities PCL, Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. (Australia), and Merrill Lynch (Thailand). He was Managing Director of KASIKORN ASSET MANAGEMENT Co., Ltd., and began working with KASIKORNBANK in 2012 as Executive Vice President overseeing SME Business Division and serving as Acting Head of Corporate Business Division. He was later named Senior Executive Vice President of SME Business Division, Corporate Business Division and Retail Business Division before being appointed the 11th President of KASIKORNBANK.
