KBank showcases financial innovations at Money Expo

At KBank booth at the 18th Money Expo Bangkok 2018, cutting-edge financial technologies are exhibited under the theme "LIFE PLUS: More Use More PLUS at KBank" to match digital lifestyles and business environment. A multitude of promotional campaigns and special privileges are also offered.

Mr. Wirawat Panthawangkun, KBank Senior Executive Vice President, said during the 18th Money Expo Bangkok 2018, May 10-13, 2018, KBank has created an area of activity with a booth under the theme "LIFE PLUS: More Use More PLUS at KBank" to introduce financial innovations to serve diverse requirements of customers. Various digital technologies have been developed to enhance convenient, rapid and secure financial transactions, as well as creating cashless experience of customers in response with the policy of the government and Bank of Thailand.

KBank booth "LIFE PLUS: More Use More PLUS at KBank" at the Money Expo is composed of three zones, namely:

1. Innovation Games Zone showcases new technologies developed by KBank and KBTG to support KBank products and services in the near future. These technologies are presented as games that the visitors can play easily and understand their sophistication, as follows:

  • KADE: K PLUS AI-Driven Experience KADE is a financial innovation driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, which is deemed a technological leapfrog that transforms the digital service provision to smart service for the first time of financial institutions in Thailand. KADE will be able to understand customers' lifestyles and will enable KBank to introduce products and services that match the demand of both retail and business customers, anywhere and anytime. It is expected that KADE will create a comprehensive financial cycle and pave the way toward a cashless society.
  • K PLUS Beacon mobile banking app is an improvement on our financial app that won two international awards. It boasts a cutting-edge innovation that empowers the visually impaired, namely the blind, people with low vision, the elderly and others in the general public populace to conduct financial transactions via smartphones by themselves with confidence and without the need to look at the screen. It also provides users with privacy, convenience, speed and security. Key services available on this mobile banking app include balance enquiry, money transfer, top-up and bill payment under the same security standard as K PLUS app.
  • Face Recognition is the latest biometric technology, which is capable of verifying facial identity of the customers before using various services, including online account opening via K PLUS app and securities trading account opening via digital channels.

2. Investment Zone: This zone presents KBank's financial services for retail customers, namely, home loans, personal loans, credit cards or services for customers planning to make investments, and for our corporate customers. A team of financial gurus is available to provide knowledge and recommendations about finance and investment comprehensively.

3. Self-Service Zone: The zone enables visitors to easily navigate the information about financial products on their own by simply scanning QR Code and applying to use KBank services via digital channel.
