A Quicker and Easier Way to Access Trade Transactions Anytime, Anywhere

HSBC today launched the Trade Transaction Tracker, a mobile application (app) feature which will enable corporates to track their trade transactions on a real-time basis. This feature is built into the existing HSBCnet Mobile Application and the introduction of Trade Transaction Tracker in Thailand follows its launch in in key markets e.g. UK, Hong Kong, India, Bangladesh, Australia, Singapore, China, etc. and it will be extended to other markets in future.

The Trade Transaction Tracker is a simple, easy-to-use tool, which will help customers track status of their trade transactions with real time information. It will provide a consolidated view of import and export documentary credit and collections transactions across markets in one single app.

Krisda Phatcharoen, Head of Commercial Banking, HSBC Thailand said, "HSBC has been significantly investing in digital innovation to make global trade simpler, better and faster for our customers. In today's fast changing world, there is increasing demand by businesses to run international business activity using mobile phones, it is important to keep our services competitive and the Trade Transaction Tracker is an innovative tool to simplify the entire trade transaction tracking process, allowing businesses to better manage their global trade flows anytime and from anywhere.

Last month, HSBC Thailand also launched its digitized Supply Chain Finance (SCF) solution, which allows buyers to automate funding processes and will significantly reduce manual processing time. In a world where supply chains are becoming increasingly global, it is important that suppliers can access their payments as early as possible and buyers have the ability to optimise their payment terms. HSBC's Supply Chain Finance platform helps businesses to achieve this. It can also help buyers to build and strengthen strategic partnerships with their suppliers and support businesses with gaining better control over their working capital."

Set-up of the Trade Transaction Tracker is simple and straightforward, with self-certification based on customer's existing registration on Instant@dvice and no HSBCnet registration is required. This can be completed in 3 simple steps within 10 minutes. Customers using iPhones or Android devices can download the latest version of the HSBCnet Mobile app from the Apple Store or Google PlayTM.

Trade has been at the foundation of HSBC for over 150 years. Being a leading provider of international trade and supply chain finance for businesses of all sizes, the Bank provides access to 90% of global trade flows. The Trade Transaction Tracker is the latest enhancement to the Bank's award winning electronic banking platform to make banking simpler for its corporate customers.
