SCB and SCG win two awards from The Asset for supply chain management innovation excellence

Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) President and Digital Ventures Chief Executive Officer Orapong Thien-Ngern and SCG Vice President-Corporate Administration Yuttana Jiamtragan jointly announced the success of SCB and SCG in recently winning two prestigious awards, namely, Best Supply Chain Solution and Editors' Triple Star for Blockchain Solutions for Procure-to-Pay (B2P). The awards were from The Asset, a leading magazine covering Southeast Asia's money and investment market, and recognized the successful cooperation between Digital Ventures (an SCB Group company) and SCG in creating a B2P digital procurement platform developed with R3blockchain technology for the first time in the word. Features such as data security, transparency, and openness, blockchain technology helps improve the effectiveness of the procurement process and saves on costs. The model has been accepted as a prototype for supply chain management, and further developed for other leading companies in Thailand. The awards reflect the success of SCB and SCG in developing effective supply chain management tools answering business requirements, from upstream to downstream.
