ASEAN startups vie to go global at Pitch@Palace Event in Bangkok

startups from 10 ASEAN countries will vie for a place to participate in "Pitch@Palace Global" at St. James's Palace in London, UK this coming December. The 17 startups, covering a range of industries, were selected from nearly 100 applications from all ASEAN countries namely, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singa-pore, Thailand, The Philippines and Vietnam. Singapore and Thailand are being represented by 3 startups each, while Indonesia, Malaysia and The Philippines have 2 startups, and the other countries are represented by 1 startup, respectively.

The 2-day "Pitch@Palace ASEAN" event is being hosted by the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) in Thailand in collaboration with Pitch@Palace Global for the first time in Bangkok in recognition of Thailand being the Chair of ASEAN this year. The event will consist of a Boot Camp on the 3rd November to be held at C ASEAN, and the main Pitch event on the 4th of November will take place at the IMAX Theatre@IconSiam.
