Grab Thailand in collaboration with Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MoAC), led by Dr. Kengkran Louvirojanakul, Head of Public Affairs, Grab Thailand (2nd from left) and Mr. Alongkorn Polabut, the advisor to the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives (3rd from Left) launched 'Grab Loves Farmers’ campaign with 'Farmers’ Market’ as an alternative income channel to help support Thai farmers affected by COVID-19 pandemic. The delivery service of export-quality fruits is available on GrabMart via Grab application. During the initial phase, the campaign starts with two distribution centers which are Or Tor Kor Market and Bon Marche Market Park, comprising of 5 fruits variations from 3 provinces including Golden Mango from Ban Rong San Agriculture Cooperative, Phayao province, Hong Hui and Emperor lychee from Mae Suk Lychee Agriculture Farming Group, Phayao province, Mangosteens and Durians from Wang Sai Nikom Cooperative Limited, Rayong province, and Golden bananas from Ban Lat Agriculture Cooperative Limited, Phetchaburi province. The sales will be expanded to major distribution areas throughout Bangkok in the future. Any interested people can now support Thai fruit farmers at 'Farmers’ Market’ via GrabMart services on Grab application, starting from 1 June 2020 onwards.
