General Press Releases Friday April 4, 2003 16:17

The Israeli-based Kabbalist, Michael Laitman, whose worldwide audience is made up of people of all faiths, religions and cultures, is exposing Israel's spiritual role in world affairs. According to the book of Zohar, the wisdom of Kabbalah was secretly passed down from Abraham to other Kabbalists throughout the generations to preserve it until the time came for revealing it to the entire world. Based on the holy writings, now, in the 21st century, this wisdom must be transferred to all the world's nations, in order to prevent a third or fourth world war. Laitman's non-profit group is ensuring that the ancient wisdom, which has been buried deep within the Bible for thousands of years, is readily available in every day language to all those who seek to discover it.

Tel Aviv, April 4 2003 – The Israeli-based Kabbalist, Michael Laitman, whose worldwide audience is made up of people of all faiths and religions, is exposing Israel's unique spiritual role in world affairs. According to Laitman, "Along with the wisdom of Kabbalah that was handed down to the people of Israel by the Creator, came the responsibility of transferring this knowledge to all the nations of the world. By using this wisdom, we can discover the true reality that is hidden from us today, and attain the source that guides all of humanity. This process will ultimately transform our history of violence, corruption and all human suffering into a peaceful existence of perfection and security."

"Based on what is written in the book of Zohar, the time has come for this revelation, since all this must take place in the 21st century. The holy book discloses that this important process can prevent a third or fourth world war, which would leave only a handful of humans here on earth for fulfilling the purpose of creation."

"This vital process of divine revelation, which is the ultimate goal, must be transferred from Israel to all the world's nations. Therefore, the implementation of this task must become a top priority for the entire world, and not fall solely on the shoulders of Israel. Israel's role is simply to guard this infinite source of knowledge until humanity develops and realizes that there is no other way to be saved from its own cruel nature."

The sources that were handed down by the last greatest Kabbalist of our time, Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag (1885-1932), were especially written in modern-day Hebrew for the souls of this generation. Michael Laitman, who was handed down personal transcripts from this great spiritual leader, has dedicated himself to spreading this wisdom throughout the world as quickly as possible. His non-profit group in Israel provides people of all faiths with unlimited access to the authentic Kabbalah sources in 20 languages, to allow individuals to become familiar with the source of their being in the language most convenient to them. Laitman is also cultivating an entire generation of young Kabbalists to prepare the world for its spiritual ascent.

"The point of this method is to allow us to draw nearer and comprehend the divine providence, in order to acquire the ability to maximize our potential in this world. The wisdom of Kabbalah provides a practical method for everyone in this generation to acquire the necessary means for attaining the abundance of the spiritual world, while still living in this world. This ancient wisdom has been converted into every day language over the last century to make it readily available to all who seek to discover it."

About Michael Laitman

A scientist by profession, Rabbi Laitman arrived in Israel in 1974 at the age of 27. Completely secular at the time, his search for spirituality eventually brought him to study under Rabbi Baruch Ashlag, the son of Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag, the author of the commentary on the Book of Zohar. He served as the personal assistant to Rabbi Baruch Ashlag from 1979 to 1991, and upon his teacher's passing, was handed down personal transcripts from one of the greatest Kabbalists of our time. Having studied Kabbalah for over 30 years, Rabbi Laitman presents a scientific approach to spiritual evolvement that is based on the writings of Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag and other great Kabbalists throughout the generations. An eloquent writer and public speaker, his words inspire individuals around the world to accelerate the spirituality of mankind through the study of Kabbalah.

Laitman's non-profit group in Israel invites people of all faiths to participate in its daily virtual Kabbalah classes, and benefit from the world's largest source of free spiritual content at
