Arrow's Richard Huxley to Present at Electronics News' RoHS Webcast

Arrow Asia Pac Ltd. announced that Richard Huxley, Vice President of
Marketing, Arrow Asia Pac Ltd., will present at a RoHS webcast to be hosted by
Electronics News in Australia on February 8, 2006.   The webcast is designed to
provide RoHS project managers, design engineers, purchasing professionals, production managers of electronics manufacturers, and other interested personnel with insights and information about RoHS.
Arrow is co-sponsoring the webcast as part of its global program to help
electronics manufacturers and suppliers prepare for compliance with RoHS, the

European Union's new Restriction of Hazardous Substances requirements.   The RoHS directives ban the use of six hazardous substances, including lead, in all electrical and electronic equipment placed on the European market after July


During the webcast, Richard -- who leads Arrow's RoHS initiatives in Asia -- will give an overview of the   complex challenges that suppliers and manufacturers face.   He will also discuss various cost and implementation issues that manufacturers should be aware of if they wish to develop a lean, responsible and scalable plan to become RoHS compliant.   Arrow has arrived at these best practices through in-depth experience of servicing a wide range of customers and
