HSBC UNVEILS NEW CREDIT CARD DESIGN SIGNIFYING A STRONG CURRENCY FOR PURCHASES EVERYWHERE

HSBC in Thailand introduces new designs for its credit cards. The “strong currency” design showcases how HSBC Credit Cards provide great value everywhere.

The “strong currency” design, which features a currency watermark at the center of the credit card, will be available for all new credit cards from today and for all existing credit cards as they are renewed upon expiration.

“The new look reflects our drive to keep up with trends while we show the great value we are providing to our customers, everywhere they spend. The contemporary image is backed by the many benefits that HSBC Credit Cards offer to match customers’ lifestyles. Our cardholders can use HSBC Credit Card as their strong currency everywhere.”, said   Mr. Mariano Reisin, Head of Marketing and Communications – HSBC in Thailand.

HSBC Credit Card provides great value everywhere, including:
  • Up to 50% discount at more than 1,400 restaurants nationwide from now on until 15 June 2007. Plus additional 5 % discount at 15 favourite restaurants from 15 January to 15 March 2007.
  • Up to 10 % discount for regular price items at every branch of The Mall and The Emporium, and an extra 1 percent of cash coupon for every purchase of 500 baht when presenting Prestige Card, from now on until 7 May 2007
  • Get 100 Baht voucher for every 1,500 Baht spent at all Carrefour outlets from now until 31 January 2007.
  • Special airfares when purchasing tickets to Singapore (2,500 Baht excluding taxes) or to Tokyo (10,000 Baht excluding taxes) with Singapore Airline from now until 31 January 2007. Plus special privileges in over 40 countries in Home and Away programme.
