Udon Thani Provincial Administrative Organization and Udon Thani Municipality in cooperation with official sponsor Wan Thai Foods Industry Co., Ltd., the manufacturer of instant noodle under brand Yum Yum and co-sponsor Thai Beverage Public Company Limited recently co-hosted the press conference for the readiness on “Enjoyment throughout the city with Yum Yum, Double Fest Double Fun Esan Music Festival 2011 @ Udon Thani” event at the Atrium 2, 1st Floor, CentralWorld. It is the first event in Thailand comprised of two festivals in one - Esan Music Festival and Songkran Festival, decorated on the theme of spiral wave of enjoyment with light, sound, stream, ocean foam arena, and fountain tower along two kilometers of the street. The event aims to support and motivate the tourism in north eastern region, to reflect the beautiful townscape and country security to be internationalized through attractive activities of Songkran and Music Festival to catch eyes of Thai people and foreigners, to raise the annually held event to be internationalized and greater, as well as to make fame and good image of Udon Thani Province — the land of cultures and music in order to internationally recognize.
Hanchai Teekathananont, Chief Executive of Udon Thani Provincial Administrative Organization and Ittipol Triwatsuwan, Mayor of Udon Thani Municipality, official sponsor Wan Thai Foods Industry Co., Ltd. and co-sponsor Thai Beverage Public Company Limited Jatuphol Sittichai, Managing Director of Pixel One Production Co., Ltd. co-hosted the press conference for the readiness and activities of the event. Activities are cooking demonstration on highlight and easy menu for welcoming this Songkran Festival and cooking contest on “Yum Yum Jumbo Hang Moo Yang Nam Tok Saab” from two celebrities Candy Thavornmas, Maprang Kittiwitchaya Vacharothai, and the hot actor Porch Saran Sirilak. The event is closed by inviting everyone to attend “Enjoyment throughout the city with Yum Yum, Double Fest Double Fun Esan Music Festival 2011 @ Udon Thani”.
“Enjoyment throughout the city with Yum Yum, Double Fest Double Fun Esan Music Festival 2011 @ Udon Thani” is to inherit and merged the Thai traditional festival Songkran with the extreme fun music festival under the concept “Double Fest Double Fun with two great festivals” which is the first event in Thailand decorated on the theme of spiral wave of enjoyment with light, sound, stream, ocean foam arena, and fountain tower. The three highlights were the concert in ocean foam arena performed by hot singers such as Bottom Blues, Zeal, Buddha Bless, Joey Boy & Gancore Club, Mild, Nologo, Chin, Thaitanium, Jetseter, Flure, Slot Machine, and Paradox, as well as the celebration on Songkran Festival while listening to three styles of music — POP, Rock, and Hip Hop & Raggae, at three stages in fountain tower installed along 2 kilometers of the street.
The festival will be taken place on 13-15 April 2011 at “Nong Prachak” in the heart of Udon Thani City.
