Inaugural South East Asian SME Forum welcomes leading investors

The upcoming South East Asian SME Forum and Tiger Awards is hosting the region?s top small and medium-sized enterprises. The two-day initiative is the brainchild of leading French business information group naseba, and is taking place on September 20th – 21st 2011 in Kuala Lumpur.

Bringing together up to 100 business owners and decision makers from the most dynamic SMEs in Southeast Asia, attendees can meet high-calibre solution providers including prominent funds L Capital Asia and Pacific Harbor Group.

L Capital Asia is presenting a panel discussion entitled: „Investment and partnership opportunities for the SME sector.? This LVMH-backed private equity fund of USS650 million is keen to invest in emerging Asian brands and transform them into global names. Pacific Harbor Group also invests in SMEs in Asia and is delivering a keynote presentation regarding capital raising and strategies for successfully gaining investment.

In addition, delegates can participate in high-level networking and hear from leading speakers. These include: Datuk Dr Rebecca Fatima Sta Maria – Secretary General, Ministry of International Trade and Industry Malaysia; Hon Gwendolyn F Garcia – Governor, Province of Cebu, Philippines, and Senator Dato? Idris Jala – Chief Executive Officer, Performance Management and Delivery Unit.
